Got to this place by a recommendation from a friend. He said that this place is worth to visit. Located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, we're confused at first how to reach this place from our hotel. We asked a taxi driver and he didn't know that place and how to get there from our place. At last we go there by using a commuter from Kg. Dato Harun station to Padang Jawa station, then from there we took a cab to i-City.
Finally we arrived at around 4 p.m. but this place already been crowded by people. It was a long weekend after the Chinese New Year (19 to 21 Feb 2015) so I saw many families and a group tour have been swarmed in this place. The concept of this place is like a-one-stop-entertainment. If Indonesia has Ancol and Dufan then here Malaysia has i-City.
i-City has many attractions, if you have a plan to visit i-City you better check their website firts here. You can also buy the ticket pass online. But you can also buy the ticket on the spot. Because the place is big and has many attractions, you could spent the whole day here. There are an open air Water World, Trick-art Museum, Wax Museum, Snowalk, and many rides you can play in this open space area.
But wait, if you want to feel the amazing lights of this 'City of Digital Lights' you have to wait till night. At night you can enjoy the beautiful view of many colorful lights. While waiting for that, let us take some selfies~ ^^
To play each game you have to buy a ticket card pass like this:
Then you can top-up this card using your money, and every time you want to play the game they will debited your money. The price range of the game in i-City start from RM 5 to RM 50. Not only to play the games, but this card also used to pay some foods here. So you have to keep this card and make sure to top-up enough money to play the games, pay the entrance fee, and to buy some snacks.
